Update on 245 Catharine Street!

If you walk by 245 Catharine Street today you will notice that the structure that contained vats with contaminants has been demolished and the property cleaned up by the city. This is a great success story. The Beasley Neighbourhood Association would like to thank Ward 2 Councillor Jason Farr, Glyn Wide, Superintendent Property Standards and Zoning and the Ministry of Environment for working together to make our neighbourhood safer. Also a special thank you goes out to Matt Jelly and Laura Ryan for bringing the needed attention to this property.

Finally, we would also like to thank the passionate residents of Beasley who were keeping an eye on this property and reporting suspicious incidents to the appropriate authorities! We can accomplish so much together!

Additionally, if there's something you'd like to see addressed, a contentious issue, or even one that's benign, please consider sending it to townhallshamilton@gmail.com.
